Custom fields in timesheets

Is there a way to show custom fields in a timesheet or group timesheet entries by a custom field?

I use one profile with a custom field "Project" for development work on all my projects. If, for example, I add two tasks with the same name (e.g. "Development") and different settings in "Project", I will see the two "Development"-entries in the timesheet but I don't see the projects for this tasks.

Thx

The timesheet does not currently support this functionality. We may consider adding it later, but that would have to be after the current Grindstone feature freeze.

Hi,

we would also very much like the ability to add custom fields to timesheet entries. This would enable us to have few general continuing tasks, and when registering time with these choose e.g. a different client for each timesheet period. This could simplify the task overview and make it very easy for us to start and switch tasks/clients.

With this feature it would also be great to have the choise of adding custom fields for the timesheet colums view.

Kind regards
Mr Jensen

Hi:

First of all, great software.

Two feature requests:

1. Columns in reports

I would like custom columns own on reports/timesheet. For instanceCase Name | Billing # | Client | Hours Billed (rounded to tenths)

2. Rounding

I would like to add a custom column that will automatically and continuously round the time billed to the next highest or lowest increment, which I determine.

For example:

Thanks in advance

All these requests about including columns in addition to what the standard reports already display will have to wait until after the feature freeze, unfortunately. However, that doesn't mean we're not listening.
